Joyce Corporation has officially opened its new headquarters in Osborne Park.
Acquired in November 2015, the 4025sqm site will house Joyce’s corporate office and high-clearance warehouse, as well as provide more than 1000sqm of rentable warehouse space.
The building encompasses a large open plan office allowing for the possibility of future expansion and a functional warehouse to receive, store and handle of the company’s inventory.
Joyce Corporation executive director Anthony Mankarios said the acquisition was an important achievement and an investment in the company’s future.
“The new office and warehouse play an important role in running our operations efficiently,” he said.
“We have invested $7 million in developing the site to centralise all our operations, which were previously scattered in several places.”
Joyce Corporation chairman Daniel Smetana said the company had successfully completed another phase in its national restructuring program, which continued to yield results.
“Joyce Corporation has enjoyed significant success in recent years, and this investment in additional capacity is testament to the robust trading environment and recent surge of activity across our main businesses,” he said.
“The company has expanded well beyond its humble 1886 beginnings to become a truly national company, but we remain proudly Western Australian.”
Joyce Corporation owns the Bedshed franchise business and has a majority stake in Kitchen Connection, WallSpan and Lloyds Auction Online.
